the boy who wanted to fly

Starting from twelve digital illustrations, I collaborated with Sentrock to assemble a single cohesive animation. The 1:28-minute piece served as a centerpiece for his exhibition at the Elmhurst Art Museum, on view from September 16, 2022 through February 12, 2023. The exhibition explored the dreams of a young boy in an urban environment, the influence of his Mexican-American community, and the meaning behind his bird mask.
