Riot: from Rebellion to Redemption
RIOT is set to be released in February 2026 and will be broadcasted by PBS stations throughout the country. The film chronicles the city of Newark, New Jersey, and the many ways it was affected by the civil disturbance that took place there in the summer of 1967.
I animated multiple photos for the intro/trailer for an independent documentary using photographic parallax techniques to create depth from still imagery. The project required extensive image reconstruction in After Effects, supported by AI-assisted generative fills and edits to eliminate gaps and preserve continuity.
